Business Spotlight: R&R Flyfishing Guides

For fishing fans coming to the Smokies, we would like to recommend R&R Flyfishing Guides. Information from their website is as follows:

Fly fishing isn’t simply our business, it’s our passion!

And little wonder; East Tennessee provides some of the most diverse fly fishing opportunities in the United States. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a fly fisher’s wonderland, and it’s literally minutes from our door in Townsend, Tennessee.

In addition, we guide anglers on East Tennessee’s tailwaters, rivers and lakes, where bigger trout and smallmouth bass are often found. Our specialty is catching trout on a fly, and we welcome anglers of all skill levels. Regardless of your skill level, we can tailor a day of fly fishing for you.

Trips & Rates

East Tennessee has some of the best trout water anywhere in the country. From our base in Townsend, we have quick access to the streams of the Smoky Mountains. We offer guided wade fishing in the streams.

Wade Trips in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

A haven for trout, the Smokies offer nearly 1,000 miles of wild trout streams. These beautiful streams provide wade fishing for colorful wild fish on a grand scale. While most fish in the Smokies are less than a foot long, they are a challenge to hook and are scrappy fighters.

Many anglers rate the Smokies as their favorite place to cast a fly. The Smokies are one of the last large wild trout fisheries in the eastern USA. A day of fishing the mountain streams is more physical than some anglers expect. We’ll take you to water that best suits your capabilities. We mainly guide along roadside streams but are thrilled to hike in to one of many locations if it suits you.
