Are there ever enough festivals at the tail end of the year in Townsend, TN? What a silly thing to ask! When presented with the idea of jubilee in one of the most beautiful and enjoyable mountain towns at one of the best times of the year to be in THE best National Park and mountain America has to offer, when would enough ever be enough? Definitely not at the Townsend Grains and Grits Festival, that’s for sure!

We have created a unique opportunity for you to experience our thriving craft spirits and gourmet food community, while discovering some of the region’s legendary distillers and blenders, taking place in the Peaceful Side of the Smokies.
The Townsend Grains & Grits Festival provides an intimate sampling event, offering something for consumers, foodies, bartenders and spirit professionals alike.
There will be plenty to offer, from live entertainment guaranteed to get you moving, savory bites and sweet treats from local restaurants and food purveyors and a vast selection of sample craft spirits from regional legends.”
November 4th is the date to save for the Townsend Grains & Grits Festival and the venue will be the Townsend Visitors Center on the main Townsend road. The event goes from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. At 5:00PM, parking opens up with the gates opening up at 6:00PM. From 7:00PM to 8:30PM, the live music performances will play and the event ends at 9:00PM.
